Robert Louis Thompson,  of Gloster, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Robert was born August 4, 1952 in California,  the son of Robert Louis Thompson Sr.  and  Opal Lee Mortimer Thompson.  He was a contractor and a Master Carpenter.

Robert is survived by three sisters, Becky Thompson Hinojosa, Debbie Nelson, and Jo Anna Jones: two step-daughters, Tracie Hawkins and Heather Werner;  four step-grandchildren, Colton Hawkins, Kristina Johnson, Bailey Werner, and Dalton Werner.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Terri Hawkins Thompson; two  sons, Kevin Thompson and Allen Thompson; and one step-grandson Cody Hawkins.

Visitation is Monday, February 4, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS., from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Brown Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Brian Malone. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery.
