Sallie
Parnell
d. Dec 15, 2025
Sallie Parnell was called home to heaven on December 15, 2025 after battling brain cancer for many months. She was the beloved wife of Phillip Parnell for fifty-six years, and will be greatly missed.
Sallie loved being with her family and caring for her family, especially her husband. She loved working with her flowers. She also loved making things and giving them to others. She enjoyed going to the beach with her siblings and shopping, (especially at Ollies).
Sallie served as children church director for many years. She worked with the youth groups and loved attending youth camp each year. She served along side her husband as a preacher/pastor's wife for many years.
There is so much to say about her, and so limited space and time to say it.
Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Pearl Williams.
Sallie is survived by her husband Phillip Parnell; three children Larry Parnell, June Thibodeaux and husband Bobby, and Tony Parnell and wife Amy; her twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three sisters, Wilma Parnell and husband Bobby, Peggy Hollis, and Sandy Wells and husband David; two brothers Richard Williams and Jackie Williams.
Sallie will be missed so, so, much, but we know she is in the arms of Jesus looking for her mansion, and not suffering any more.
We will meet again in the rapture. Love and miss you my love.
Visitation will be Saturday January 3, 2026 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 6050 Highway 567, Liberty, MS. 39645, from 10:00 A.M. until time of Services at 11:00 A.M. at the church.
