Tamela "Tammy" Tynes Lange,60, of the Busy Corner Community in Amite County,  passed away Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Field Health System. Tammy was born to Quin Tynes and Avis Arnold Tynes on September 30, 1960. Tammy was proud to call Amite County her home; the country woods, and quiet life she loved so much.

Tammy married Carl Lange and the two of them had two beautiful daughters, Chenelle and Shanna. Tammy loved people and devoted herself to caring for others as a sitter.

Tammy is survived by her daughters Chenelle Folks (Jeremy), and Shanna Murray: grandchildren Jordan Folks (Cherre), Landon Folks, and Bryce Murray, and her beautiful great granddaughter Haven Folks; her mother Avis Whittington (Harvey); companion Chris Russo; sister Patsy Sanders; and brothers Michael Tynes (Jenette) and Donnie Tynes; as well as numerous neices and nephews she dearly loved.

Tammy is proceeded in death by her husband Carl Lange; father Quin Tynes and sister Nancy Guerin.

Visitation is Friday, August 27, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. followed by graveside services at 11:30 A.M. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Mt. Pleasant Road.
