Thelma Elizabeth McGee, 93, of Osyka, MS. passed away Monday October 14, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1926, the daughter of James and Lizzia Smith.  Mrs. Thelma worked her whole life. She was a farmer, a gardener, and a homemaker.  She is survived by five children, daughter Billie Trigg, son Johnny Massey, son Victor McGee, daughter Helen Turner, and daughter Mary Whittington; eleven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lizzia Bedwell Smith, her husband Willis McGee, and her brothers and sisters.  Visitation is Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS. from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday at the Gillsburg Baptist Church from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, at the church, officiated by Rev. Victor Walsh. Graveside services will follow in Gillsburg Baptist Church Cemetery.
