Thomas "Bubba" Lanius, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at his residence.

He was born January 10, 1965, and worked as a management consult in the construction industry.  He loved hunting, fishing, and working at the river place with Shucks and his cows.

Bubba is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Lyda Caston Lanius, his mother Terry Hutson Jones, brother William Lee Lanius (Trisha), step-brother Daniel Carl Jones, and step-sister Lori Dye (Rick).  Niece and nephews: Erin Lanius, Will Lanius, Hunter Lanius, and Ryan Lanius.  Children: Michael Womack and wife Kim, Wendi Kent, and Brian Womack and wife Kristen.  Grandchildren: Brennan Womack (Jessie), Abby Kent, Taylor Rogillio, Kayley Ginn (Steven) Colton Womack, Kameran Kent, Emersyn Gordon, Cainan Womack, Ella Gordon and Beckett Smith.  Great grandchildren: Tatum Womack, Kinsley Womack and Haven Ginn.

Bubba was proceeded in death by his sister Julie Lanius, father Daniel Bryant Jones, father Leto Lanius, and half-brother Ryan Lanius.

Visitation is Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:30 AM, officiated by Rev. Daniel Cook.
