Tony Joe Cruise 63, of Liberty, MS passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

He was born July 25, 1959, to Joy Delano Cruise and Marjorie Cook Cruise. He was a commercial diver and a pipeline welding inspector. Tony was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son, Will Cruise (Hilarie), and daughter, Sarah Cruise. Five grandchildren; Evers Puckett, Carter Cruise, Joleigh Cruise, Kinley Fajoni, and Ava Cruise. One sister, Geralyn Kelly (Troy), one brother, Loy Cruise (Les), and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joy Delano and Marjorie Cook Cruise, brother, Billy Cruise, and grandparents, Joe and Jerri Cook, Lloyd and Velma Cruise.

Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2022, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Shan Van Norman officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Belanger, Bobby Chauvin, Billy Van Norman, Dreher Van Norman, Aaron Toler, and Clay Brecheen. Honorary pallbearers, Carter Cruise. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
