William Earl Chamness, 58, of Crosby, MS. passed away Wednesday September 8, 2021. He was born April 2, 1963, the son of Virgil Chamness and Minnie Looney Chamness. He was a bricklayer most of his life and was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father;  two brothers, Wallace "Neal" Chamness and Kenneth "Nash" Chamness; two sisters Jewelene "Dobie" Gilly and Diana Lynn Roddy; and grandparents Lem Chamness and Mary Elizabeth Lawrence Chamness; and Martha Luther Looney and Elizabeth Coon Looney.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Nettles Chamness; two daughters Jessica Chamness and Destiny Chamness; grandchildren, Kaylie Harris, Kayden Neal Harris, Jacob Buckhannon, Avalyn Grace Adams, and Oliva Buckhannon; his mother Minnie Looney Chamness; brother Virgil Lee Chamness; sister-in-law Amanda Chamness, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Greg Beaty. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
