Willie Mae Hastings, 78, of Gloster, MS., passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Southwest Miss. Regional Medical Center, in McComb, MS.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard "Bill" Hastings; son Billy Hastings and Cathy; grandson Donald Hastings and Shelby; four great-grandchildren, Kason Hastings, Brelynn Hastings, Clayton Hastings, and Kerra Hastings; four brothers, Charles Nevels and Nancy, James Nevels and Joyce, Alvin Nevels, and Johnny Wayne Nevels and Lea Anne; five sisters, Bernice McDonald, Mary Alice Bates, Jeanette Lambert and Wayne, Dorothy Whitehead and Billy, and Frances McKey; two special nephews, Bruce Jackson and Bonnie, David Hastings and Sandy; and one special niece, Vickie Bates Cummins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Nevels and Hazel Morgan Nevels; grandson Keith Hastings, and two brothers, Bernell Nevels and Cecil Nevels

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 9:30am until time of funeral services at 11:00am Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS., officiated by Rev. Jim Bradford. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Donald Hastings, Scott Bates, James Nevels, Jarrod Lambert, Derrick Whitehead, and Brad McKey. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Whitehead and Wayne Lambert.
